Students are paying for lessons so we expect instructors to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. Being professional, however, does not mean being boring. We ask that instructors are considerate and courteous to students but we do, of course, want instructors to enjoy their lessons and keep students motivated.

Dress Code

First impressions are important. especially at trial lessons. so itfs important to look professional and respectable. Male and female instructors are required to wear appropriate business attire. After the trial lesson, instructors may wear clothes they feel would not offend the student and would be appropriate to the atmosphere of the lesson.

Lesson Preparations.

1. Please ensure you thoroughly plan each lesson.

2. Please try to arrive at the lesson venue at least 5 minutes early. This will give you time to set up. Remember that Japanese are usually very punctual and do not appreciate tardiness.

3. Please make sure your teaching methods match the needs and the goals of the student.
